BOULDER TRIATHLON SERIES

Registration for the 2009 5430 Sprint Triathlon and Boulder Triathlon Series has closed as the Sprint race has completely sold out - including all Charitable Donation Slots! Registration is still open for the Boulder Peak and 5430 Long Course Triathlons

Series Entry Fees

$280 January 1 - January 15

$300 January 16 - January 31

$320 February 1 - February 28

NON-USAT Members please add $30 ($10 per race)

Should you register early and find yourself unable to compete for any reason, you must notify us at least 60 days prior to the event, and you will receive a refund of your entry fee (not including any online processing fees) minus a 33.5% fee. There will be NO transfers.

The Boulder Triathlon Series

The Boulder Triathlon Series is comprised of the 5430 Sprint Triathlon, the Boulder Peak Triathlon, and the 5430 Long Course Triathlon. There will be at least $16,000 in cash and gift certificates from sponsors for the top age group finishers in the Series

Series Points & Prize Information

The Boulder Triathlon Series awarded $16,000 to age group athletes in cash and prizes in 2007. The overall male and female age group winners for the Series receive $2,500 in cash! Second and third place overall Series winners receive $1,500 and $1,000, respectively. In addition, every age group winner received $250 in gift certificates from either Adrenaline Tri Sport, Runners Roost, Bike Source Multisport, and Boulder Running Company. Points are awarded and accumulated for all three of our Series events as follows: 10 points for winning one's age group, 8 points for second, 6 points for third, then 5-4-3-2-1 (for 4th-8th). In addition, bonus points of 3, 2, and 1 are added to the overall age group winners. Competitors must have raced in at least two races in the Series to be eligible.

The 2008 Boulder Triathlon Series will modify this point system described above, with more bonus points added for overall race finishes, so as to help avoid ties for the top series winners; and, for the top overall racers to be recognized. You must participate in at least two events to be eligible for awards - and we will have at least the same level of cash and prizes as in 2007.
