5430 LONG COURSE TRIATHLON

- A great race with spectacular views, challenging course, and amazing volunteer support. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind ultra distance multisport race in Boulder, Colorado... the "Mecca of multi and endurance sports." Joanna Zeiger won the 2008 5430 Long Course for women, while Simon Thompson topped the men's field.
- Boulder Triathlon Series
- The 5430 Long Course Triathlon is the third of three races comprising the 2009 Boulder Triathlon Series. The other two are the 5430 Sprint Triathlon on June 21, and the Boulder Peak Triathlon on July 12. A special Boulder Triathlon Series registration package rate for all three races is available. There will be $16,000 in cash and gift certificates from our sponsors for the top age group finishers in the Series.

- For the 5th straight year, Boulder's Holiday Inn Express will be our Host Hotel. HIE is the closest hotel to our race venue and courses; and, also, offers a great $94 rate per room, as well as a wonderful free expanded continental breakfast, for our athletes. - 5430 Charities
- The 5430 Boulder Triathlon Series has designated the Foundation Fighting Blindness as our official charity. The cure for blindness is truly at a remarkable point in history; differentiating itself as one of the diseases that has hope of actually being cured. They are really so incredibly close to treatments and cures and it is only a matter of dollars at this point. There are at least six clinical trials currently in their final stages ready to find a cure, and our dollars can make a difference. Each dollar raised will go directly to these studies and further research.

Donations can be made as you complete registration, processing fees will not be added to your specified amount (your event receipt can be used for your tax purposes).
